VenueX is a listings and enquiry-based marketplace that connects users with independent venues, vendors, and experience providers (“Service Providers”) for events. We do not directly process bookings or handle payments.

1. Role of VenueX

VenueX acts solely as an online platform for discovery and lead generation. We do not:

  • Act as a booking or payment agent
  • Collect, manage, or hold any payments from users or vendors
  • Issue refunds or enforce cancellation terms

All bookings, payment terms, cancellation rules, and refund requests are governed solely by the Service Provider you engage with. Users are responsible for conducting due diligence before making any commitments.

2. Cancellations by Users

If you wish to cancel a submitted enquiry or confirmed booking:

  • You must contact the Service Provider directly using the contact details shared on their listing or in any communication.
  • The cancellation and refund policies of the respective Service Provider will apply.
  • VenueX cannot interfere, initiate, or enforce refund decisions between parties.

3. Cancellations by Service Providers

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed service:

  • The responsibility for timely notification, compensation, or rescheduling lies solely with the provider.
  • Users must review and act based on the provider’s cancellation terms.
  • VenueX may investigate repeated complaints and, at its discretion, warn, suspend, or delist non-compliant vendors. However, we are not liable for monetary losses or disrupted plans.

4. Refunds

Since VenueX does not facilitate or store transactions:

  • All refund requests must be addressed directly with the Service Provider.
  • VenueX does not process, guarantee, or take responsibility for refund-related matters.
  • We are not liable for refunds of any advance payments, deposits, or service charges.

5. No-Shows and Late Cancellations

In case of no-shows or last-minute cancellations by users:

  • Service Providers may retain part or full payment in accordance with their stated cancellation policies.
  • VenueX is not responsible for enforcing or reviewing such terms unless they conflict with our content guidelines or involve verified user deception.

6. Disputes and Escalations

If you believe a Service Provider has violated their own cancellation or refund policy:

  • First attempt to resolve the issue with the provider.
  • If unresolved, you may report the case to support@venuex.in.
  • While we do not mediate financial disputes, we may take internal action (e.g., investigate, issue warnings, or delist the provider) if fraud, misrepresentation, or repeated user complaints are confirmed.

7. Limitation of Liability

VenueX is a neutral digital intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its 2021 Intermediary Guidelines. By using our Website, you acknowledge that:

  • VenueX is not a party to any transaction between users and Service Providers.
  • We are not liable for disputes, miscommunication, breach of contract, or financial loss resulting from engagements made outside the platform.
  • Any claims, legal proceedings, or recoveries must be pursued directly with the relevant Service Provider.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy periodically. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
